Responsibilities:
· You will be involved in driving applications to global markets with
quality
· You will contribute to our test strategy by providing innovative ways to
test various devices we support and services we develop
· Contribute to the development of the cross platform test infrastructure,
architecture, and develop localization test automation solutions across
products
· Increase test coverage while investigating new testing and automation
frameworks and technologies
· Participate actively in design, code reviews, bug triage with the feature
teams and support well informed decisions towards business and engineering
goals to effectively solve software challenges
· Work collaboratively with a team of divers and talented peers and partner
teams across Yahoo in various disciplines, including design, program
management, and software development to provide test influence on feature
and product designs for sustained long term success
· You will also be responsible for ensuring a successful partnership with
outsourced testing partner
Qualifications:
· Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science;
· 5+ years of outstanding track record as a software or test developer;
· 3+ years of automation experience developing functional test automation
scripts and tools for Web applications, e.g., Selenium, , Ruby, Watir, Arrow
, etc.
· 2+ years of automation experience developing functional test automation
scripts and tools for Mobile applications e.g., Appium, Robmtium,
UIAutomation
· Knowledge of scripting and programming languages, e.g: Java, Objective-
C, JavaScript;
· Knowledge of SVN, Git, GitHub;
· Strong oral and written communication skills;
· Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills;
· Basic knowledge of Globalization coding and testing principals preferred
