Java Virtual Machine (JVM) fast and scalable. We are looking for people with
experience in JVM performance profiling, garbage collection, and tuning. In
this role you will be exposed to Twitter's core application architectures
and get the chance to submerge yourself in JVM internals with the relevant
open source communities. You should be excited at the prospect of working
with our world-class engineering teams and cutting edge technology to enable
highly scalable and performant software stack for a one-of-kind system.
Responsibilities:
Identify, analyze, and root cause JVM performance issues
Build fast and reliable JVM performance analysis and verification tools
Profile and tune JVM GC configuration and advise application developers
Collaborate cross-function to evangelize best JVM performance tuning and
practices
Requirements:
Strong programming capabilities in two or more of the following languages: C
, C++, and/or Java
Hands-on experience in JVM release, configuration, and performance profiling
and tuning
Ability to independently lead large development efforts
Strong communication skills and ability to work with cross-functional teams
