Job Duties/Description: we have openings for Software QA Engineers.
Responsible for developing, applying and maintaining quality standards for
software applications. Develop and execute software test plans. Analyze and
write test standards and procedures in Python/Unix/Perl. Develop and
maintain automated test scripts within a test framework (Selenium/Pyunit).
Perform script-based automated testing and functional page by page analysis.
Test large amounts of data processing and log parsing. Generate test
execution reports to management and the product team. Create, maintain and
write tools to increase QA productivity. Participate in bug review processes
to identify deficiencies and improvements in the automated and manual tests
. Design, create and use test automation tools and harnesses. Participate in
design and specification reviews. Actively participate in daily Scrums and
project planning meetings. Support and train other QA team members on weekly
and daily release processes. Ensure comprehensive test coverage by finding
bugs and defects and verifying fixes. Assist in Continuous Integration
Development of the Software Code. Responsible for automated and manual
testing of web and back end applications and reports front to back and back
to front.
Employer will accept a Master’s degree or equivalent in Computer Science,
Engineering, Math, Physics or related technical field and 2 years of work
experience in job offered or 2 years of work experience in a computer-
related occupation. Experience must include: 1) ETL/BI testing and
development by hand; 2) SQA methodologies, techniques and approaches; 3) SQA
automation tools, including one of the following: Pyunit, Selenium, WebTest
or JUnit ; 4) Programming tools: Python, Unix, Shell/awk/sed programming,
Perl, HTML, XML, JavaScript, JSP and Java Rally, Jira or similar software ;
5) Subversion and multiple release environments; 6) Integrating with Maven
or similar tools; 7) Integrating with Jenkins, Hudson or similar continuous
integration tools; 8) Oracle and MySQL; 9) Agile/SCRUM environment; 10)
Automation frameworks; 11) Large Data Processing skills –NoSQL technologies
. Experience may be gained concurrently. Any suitable combination of
education, training, or experience is acceptable. |
