Description -
An exciting opportunity to join a well-funded startup company and to play an
important role in the development of our core product. We're looking for a
strong, creative and motivated manager who will thrive in a startup
environment and can contribute, innovate and deliver industry-leading SaaS
solution. This role will be responsible for the quality assurance of our
core product. A successful candidate would have extensive experience in
testing web-based applications, preferrably in SaaS environment. The
candidate will be hands-on with testing activities initially, learning and
understanding our product and processes. Equipped with the knowledge, the
candidate will grow the team and our processes to meet the demands of our
business.
Responsibilities -
Lead the effort to create and review test plans for coverage, efficiency
, and efficacy
Drive the team to execute tests on new features and regression test
existing features
Analyze requirements specifications for impact on the existing system as
well as for gaps, testability, and applicability to stated use cases
Facilitate and enable automation testings
Amplify the effectiveness of local and global peers
Provide leadership to QA engineers and to grow the team to meet business
demands
Identify and diagnose issues quickly and accurately for impact on
customer and the whole system
Requirements -
8+ years overall Software QA and test automation experience
3+ years in technology leadership, preferably in the QA area
Proven experience with test frameworks written in PHP, PL/SQL.
Programming experience is desirable.
Experience with testing integrations with SalesForce, NetSuite, etc. a
plus
Strong communication skills
Knowledge of billing and payments is desired, especially in the SaaS
space.
Experience with test framework like Selenium
