不想花钱请，于是就自己做了。还没有招我的时候，我老板给我申请的；现在我决定自
己做，省点钱。：）
用的PP服务，6月13号收到的申请，6月16号就批了。呵呵，效率算很高了。网上关于第
一次申请H1B的材料比较多，但是没有明确的关于延期的。我就将自己的cover letter
分享一下，也算是回报板上的xdjm们吧。：）
另外，感谢LP的仔细检查，在我邮寄前发现了一个填表中的大错误，使我及时改过来了
，没有导致RFE或者rejection。 呵呵。好了，以下是cover letter 的内容：

alien as an H-1B temporary specialty occupation worker in the United States
. The materials submitted with this letter, are as follows:
1. Payment of fees:
• Employer check in the amount of $1225 for the premium processing

• Employer check in the amount of $325 for the base fee;
• Employer check in the amount of $1500 for the ACWIA fee;

• Copies of Dr. Chen’s PhD degree diploma and transcript issued by

• Copy of Dr. Chen’s social security card (front and back);
• Copies of Dr. Chen’s new and expired passports (biographic pages
);
• Copies of Dr. Chen’s last 3 pay stubs from %%%;
The attached documents establish that %%% has made an offer of permanent
employment in a specialty occupation, and that Dr. Chen possesses a PhD in
Environmental Engineering. Dr. Chen is currently in the United States in
authorized H-1B status valid from 10/30/2008 until 10/28/2011 (WAC-%%%), and
has worked in this visa status for %%% since November 2008. Prior to that,
he worked shortly for %%% in authorized H-1B status (EAC-%%%).

填申请表是自己曾经碰到的问题/疑惑：
1. 费用：如果H1B还没有用完6年，那么$1500(或者750)不能免。如果是第二次延期
或者延期多余二次，那么$1500(或者750)就可以免了。在I129申请中，注意H-1B Data
Collection and Filling Fee Exemption Supplement 中的part B item 4.
另外，我公司给用的premium processing。如果不用这个服务，不需要交$1225,同时不
需要Form I-907。
2. 在H-1B Data Collection and Filling Fee Exemption Supplement的part C
item1，所有的H1B延期要选D（cap exempt）。不管最初的申请时是cap 还是cap

H1b 11月生效.可能是因为contract只有一年 I-797写着valid from 11/10/2015 to 11
/09/2016. 我想问下楼主,我如果contract延长想续I-797,这种情况算不算续H1b,用不
用再交钱了?如果算续H1b,那么按照H1b只能续两次一次最多3年的规定,我的H1b是不是
就没有6年了? |
