I am working with university A and get a new offer from university B. My
h1b with A ends on July 14 2011 and my new appointment starts at Sep 1,
2011. University B says the new H1B will be valid exactly on Sep 1. How
about this 1.5 months gap? Any comments will be greatly appreciated.

do. Perhaps, you can get a J visa and ask for waiver immediately,but you
cannot get a J visa any more. |
