Give me some suggestion. I once worked for a boss. Her expectation is a
kind of unusual. People around her told me that you need finish the 1st task
very quickly and excellently. However, the 1st task I got was to define the
theoretical concepts of her theory verbally (she came out with that theory
4-5 years ago. At that time, she used graph to define them). She wanted me
to finish within one week. (BTW, I majored in applied statistics.)
I left after 2-month stay. Very unpleasant. Out of honesty, I put this
experience into my resume. However, one hiring manager bugged me for her
contact. I told this hiring manager there was huge differences in research
interests and focus.
The manager is not available to contact and I would tell the HM this.
But, if you were me, how would you communicate with this hiring manager? | c***2 发帖数: 838 | 2 Actually you can make up a reason for leaving the company after 2 months.
You don't have to tell the reason honestly. You only need to be honest about
your experience.
If hiring manager asks you why, you can simply say "I don't like the working
environment/style. That's it."
I know somebody changed jobs 4 times within 1 year, somehow he can still get
next offer easily.
Forget this hiring manager and move on to next one. |
