Job Accountabilities:
The ideal candidate will have the following:
A strong background in biostatistics
Familiarity with linking of longitudinal medical and drug claim data coded
in ICD-9, CPT, and NDC standards, understanding of clinical terminology
mapping.
Experience with data modeling and management of large data sets
Familiarity with preparation and combination of data for the purpose of
statistical analysis
Understanding of protocols for data quality audits
Experience with basic UI development to enable researchers to create and
share rules for common data views and extracts
Knowledge of SAS and Stata
Expanding above platform to include dynamic data sources, including
electronic medical records, personal health records and content created and
accessed by patients, clinicians and caretakers in disease registries
created with multiple systems
This position’s salary is $100k+ with the inclusion of the exceptional
university benefits package.
