to leave, so my position will expire soon. Now I need to find job soon and
try to apply a higher position in terms of title (from research scientist to
research assistant professor), however, my current salary is much higher
than the higher title position.
In this case, how should I answer the question why you want to leave
1: tell them the truth. Then my current boss's reference seems unavoidable.
