Transfer to F2 then by back is ok. You need to wait until
F2 is approved (which might take 2-3 month) then transfer back to H1b. |

H1-->F2-->H1 within 2 months is a bit confusing.
You can aggressively look for a job in the next 2 months, then transfer H1
if get one offer.
Note: USCIS may need the last 2 pay checks when transfer H1B or switch to F1
/F2/H4. Please confirm this with a lawyer.
If still no good after 1-1.5 month, consider the H1->F2/H4/F1.......
