JSP plug in. Don't think it's a problem. Lot of developers prefer to code JSP
without using fancy IDE support.
IntelliJ is the most powerful java IDE I have ever used. The refactor fuction
is awesome. It is not free though.
So for your case, go for Eclipse.

voted no.1 Java IDE from JDJ. Although I and a lot of developers I know switch
from JBuilder to Eclipse to IntelliJ. IntelliJ is just too intelligent! lol
However, if talking about free/open source Java IDE, you have to give Eclipse
the trophy. Actually, Eclipse is more than an IDE, it's a platform. There are
just so many pluggin, you can download and play with. Eclipse (pluggin)
support has become the ad hoc tool deve

junk code -- as program hackers, we need the sense of control...

Not matter how great modern IDEs are, still some of my coworkers are using
editplus or vi.

花了点时间试图把项目转到netbeans上因为eclipse操作现在的项目太慢。
结果根本没法用，下面是遇到的几个主要问题。
1. 不理解cvs的 extssh authentication方式。wincvs和eclipse都认得。
2. 可以用ext或ssh代替extssh, 但ssh bug很多。恐怖的是不管怎样，每次cvs操作后都
会留下一个没关掉的cvs和一个ssh进程。
3. 对ant依赖太重。为了他要多维护重复的脚本和properties文件。
4. XML编辑器功能太弱，基本的schema定义，多namespace下的自动填充都做不到。
5. 手感太差。使用上和eclipse, idea, jbuilder的概念相差太大。配置在global,
user, project各个层次上的分隔

发帖数: 274 | 12 JBuilder我用的时间不长, 感觉不错. 我现在稳定在NetBeans的重要原因是我最近
做Web比较多, 又懒得下各种各样的plugin. 而我想要的功能, 编辑器, CVS支持,
ANT支持, Junit支持, 内置tomcat, 简单Database browser等等Netbeans基本
一次download全部搞定. 另外4.0 还加了refactoring, 速度也比3.5/6要快.
还有就是, IDE习惯了一套, 基本上懒得去学别的, 我最早的时候一直用Emacs + JDE,
用了很久.

关于配置我遇到不少问题。code style是一个。
机器上的项目基本上三类。公司的，自己的和参与的开放源码组织的项目。每个的code
style不同(换行，空格，括号等原则)，缩进字符不同，项目里文件摆放的结构不同。在e
clipse里很容易配。project,
global两个层次上都可以。再刁钻的要求可以通过建多个workspace来实现。idea虽然没
有workspace，但每个项目层次是有的。加上这些配置都可以导入导出，行得通。
在netbeans里或许我没找到怎么做，反正现在是寸步难行。
netbeans对ant的过分依赖也是令人头疼。他居然因为我在想建的项目里有build目录就不
让我建。

Yes, it is more than an IDE, it's a platform. If you are not plugin developer,
you do not need to learn how to make eclipse plugin.
The amount of plugins and community support for eclipse are unbeatable. E.g.,
the first tool support for Hibernate and Struts come up with is eclipse
plugin.

the latest version of WSAD, which just GAed.
