发帖数: 281 | 5 You can make after-tax contribution, and you can file federal tax return for
that. Make sure you are eligible through next year end to avoid tax penalty
per IRS link below. Also, your direct payroll contribution is before FICA
tax, and I am not sure you can claim FICA tax back from federal return if
you do after-tax
contributions.
