发帖数: 53 | 1 最近考虑是在Fidelity还是Vanguard开一个Roth IRA。稍微比较了一下这两家公司
，总结了一下，我所了解到的区别有以下几个方面：
（1）Customer Service：Fidelity 要比Vanguard好的多。Fidelity的customer
service似乎更加professional，accessible and friendly。
（2）Fees and expenses：Vanguard 各种收费比Fidelity要低，这也是很多人
prefer Vanguard的主要原因。
（3）Index Funds：Vanguard可选的index funds比Fidelity的要多，而且
Vanguard有自己的funds，而Fidelity没有。
（4）网上管理工具：Fidelity的网页比较user-friendly，比较好操作，而且提供
的信息也比较全。
我是一个新手，以上的是在网上做research了解到的。不知道总结得对不对。
基于这几个区别，我觉得对于新手，可能还是Fidelity要好一点。因为对于新手来
讲，要学习很多东西，所以比较好的customer service和比较好的网上工具会有更大的
帮助，当然交的学费也要比选择Vanguard高一点。等以后对各种投资产品都比较了解以
后，再选择Vanguard。这种想法对不对？各位点评点评呗 :-)
还有另外一点是，我在fidelity的网上看到了money market funds，但是在
vanguard的网上却找不到。对于目前不知道该买什么样的ETF或者MF或者Stocks的人来
讲，那是不是还是开fidelity，然后先把钱放在money market funds里比较好？ |

financial service，而vanguard更注重于给喜欢自己动手，也比较了解投资的人提供
一个很好的平台，比如说它有很多自己的基金。vanguard的所有权归所有的投资者，加
上坚持学院派的指数方法，所以收费很低，得以迅速地吸引了大量资金。 |

另外fidelity的smart cash checking和他们家的fia 2% cash back credit card是俺选
择的重要考虑因素。

fidelity当然有自己的index funds, 没有vanguard种类多而已。fidelity有不少
managed funds比vanguard多
