The number is incorrect. That is 2.9% tax on investment income from
previous version. The latest rate is 3.8%, so it should be $9,500.
Also this is an extreme example (0 wage, > $250k investment income).
The tax increase won't affect majority of middle class.
I studied it because I will pay more tax under the bill.
I support the bill because I think health care is a right.

250K. For income of $250,001, the extra tax is 3 cents.
