My husband's is under H1-B status and he has got his Form I-797 approval
notice begin with WAC #. I am currently employed and on H1B which is valid
until 17th Nov 2017. Due to some personal reasons, I have to change my
status from H1B to H4 and so I would be applying for H1B to H4 conversion. I
seek few clarifications with regards to form I-539.
Please help. Thanks a lot.

1. 12c Check this box if you were granted Duration of Status (D/S)
Ques: Do I need to check this option since H1B status has been granted to me
until 17th Nov 2017?
Part 3
2.1b Check this box if you were granted or are seeking, Duration of Status (
D/S)
Ques: Should I check this option since I am applying H4 which is also
provided for certain duration based on my husband’s H1B?

只有F和J身份的才会有D/S的。就是说I-94上没有固定的要离开美国的日期。其他身份I
-94上都有固定要离开美国的日期。
