I asked to put the letter on NIH official letter head, but got a reply: "Actually, I am not allowed to use official letterhead for this purpose. Sorry." Can I use this letter? Thanks much!

In addition, writers may not use their NIH title and affiliation in the signature block. You may, however, mention your Government position in the body of the letter to give credibility to your recommendation.”
