I went for my naturalization interview this morning, and I was forced to
withdraw my application. The reason was I have to live in the same state
for more than 3 months before I could file the application. I recently
moved from another state, and it was only half a month before I file. This
is clearly stated in the law, and I didn't know about it before I file my
application. However, I could only say I don't know what I don't know, and
I wish they rejected my application at the very beginning, instead of taking
all my money and letting me wait for 4 months to tell me this.
Now I have to apply again and pay all the money again.
This is the lesson I learned from my application, just to share with
everyone and hopefully no one make the same mistake. | l********g

发帖数: 8496 | 8 You cannot expect the mailroom clerk to pre-adjudicate and return your
application without cashing your check. They do need to do some work to
find out that you does not meet the requirement. Maybe NBC(MSC) could have
denied you earlier so you didn't have to go to the interview. |
