标 题: 公民配偶file I-130可以用美国护照代替公民纸吗?

公民纸他入籍的时候没有申请过,他父母直接给他申请的护照.
现在如果申请公民纸需要8个月时间.
打给USCIS的800电话问可不可以用美国护照代替公民纸,结果回复是we can't give
such information over the phone. Plz ask an attorney.
美国这是逼人请律师啊 |

民的父母住，就自动是美国公民。是美国公民就能申请美国护照。

发帖数: 8496 | 20 the example is for citizenship at birth (born to USC parent) which is native
born USC as well. (John MaCann can run for president based on this)
You are USC through automatic citizenship when your parent naturalized,
which is different to the example. But whatever, use passport now, MSC(NBC)
will send you an RFE asking for citizenship certificate, and you can apply
for one then and reply RFE with the receipt.
