老板人很好 同意了
学校ISSO却不同意
以下是他们给老板的说法
贴出来 大家觉得这帮人是不是很搞笑？
It is very difficult to receive an approval for the I-140 in the
Outstanding Researcher category and the immigration service very closely
scrutinizes these types of cases. Legal counsel has found that when this
type of case is premium processed the immigration service screens it even
more closely. They estimate that 9 out of 10 cases that are premium
processed in this category are issued a Request for Evidence (RFE).
Sometimes legal counsel is successful in providing additional evidence for
consideration, but many times the petition initially filed contains the full
record (as it should) and there is nothing additional to add. This means
that the case is then denied by the immigration service. For this reason,
our legal counsel highly recommends letting the case process along the
regular track without premium processing. Given our experience with premium
processing these types of cases, ISSO strongly agrees with this
recommendation.
The average processing time for the I-140 is approximately 6 months, but can
take up to 15 months. Dr. XXXX’s case was filed on January 23, 2013, and
we hope that we will receive a decision this fall. Even if we give it a very
conservative timeframe we should receive a decision sometime in early 2014. |

Stay as far away as you can with the bureaucratic international office in
Universities (based on my personal experience, may not be true for every
University). If you can not have any other solution, keep this option open
and if you need to ask them for help, you have to play under their rules.

At least, they filed for you. If you do not urgently need it, it is not bad
at all.
You are still better than many of us, who could not get them to the step to
file the application.

You always say that, but I really don't think there is a clear answer,
unless there are statistical data to show it. Of course, I would rather
believe what you said is true, but come on, we are researcher, we need to
rely on the solid data to speak for the fact.
I also think in LZ's case, the international office has no data to support
that 90% fact.

的financial情况，公司的research accomplishments,申请人的3年工作经验等等。当
然也有可能被RFE contribution，从版上的例子来看，大部分1B被RFE的还是硬性条件
，不是软性条件（contribution）。而且1B通过率大于90%，更说明PP与否总的来说不
会影响结局。

PP，PP，PP。
是不是最近PP的太多了，才导致non-PP的要等7－8个月啊 （NSC）？
