我有义务通知雇主我拿到绿卡了吗?
公司比较mean,我尽量不想让他们知道,所以想问问是不是必须通知雇主。

need to retract your h1b by law.

burden on employee.
The H1B becomes invalid automatically when LZ becomes PR because H1B is a
non-immigrant benefit which cannot be applied to a LPR. There is no need to
withdraw H1B.
Regarding LZ's original question, since you are PR now, your employment is
authorized, you have no responsibility to help the employer to keep their I-
9 updated.You can choose to be nice and inform them but you don't have to,
it won't harm you either way.

there may be some tax issue involved. The employer may have to change some
tax codes on you because of the status change.
