birth certificate. In my 485 application，i included a photocopy of 国内出的
出生证明公证书 （复印件）. i m not sure if the officer lost my copy or he/
she wants the orignial notarization.
did you send the original copy of notarized birth certificate or a photocopy
of that？i appreicate if you can share your experience.
also，i didnt use an attorny for my gc appications. is it safer to get a
lawyer as my legal representation to submit the rfe document？ i have a very
bumpy green card journey and painful experince with the USCIS，so i dont
want to see things get screwed up at the last step by a small thing. any
adviceis much appreciated.

你只需尽快把国内出的出生证明公证书 （复印件）再寄过去，就可以了。
我还被要求过重寄护照复印件呢。实在没必要跟IO较真。

发帖数: 329 | 8 Thank you all for your kind help and blessing. I put a separate set of
documents for each of the applications -131, 765 and 485. It looks lie my
case is handled by a newbie IO. A friend of mine suggested me sending me the
RFE response via an attorney. An attorney might state that the notarial
certificate is the official document for the birth certificates for Chinese
born and his/her office has handled xxx chinese successful 485s using the
same format of document. If paying an attorney some money buys more
certainty, i am willing to do so. Does this make any sense?
I am the primary applicant. My husband hasn't received RFE yet. If his case
is also processed by the same officer, another RFE seems to be just a matter
of time. Pray for more blessing..
