PL 17pages, 参考Shhyong的模板写的, 没和top 10的faculty比较, 因为没法比.
IO 承认了Judge, Authorship, Media report, 但是不sufficient
不承认award, membership and contribution
没有电子版,只好手打了. 下面是IO的信的相关内容:

说我的推荐信speak highly about me and my work. 但是光是推荐信不够. 必须要有
硬证据.
(PL的Contribution这一段里我提及别人对我的文章大段引用(多次), 并且praise了我
的工作. 我发文章的杂志是领域内top 1的, 引用我文章的杂志也是领域内的top (JACS
)杂志. Media report和几个奖都拿来支持contribution了. 怀疑IO没仔细看或者故意
忽略? )
下面是我的准备工作:
1. 我现在要了两封editor的信, 但其中一封只是说了”it should be noted that
only the most qualified international scholars and scientists in the field
of XXX ar invited to review the submitted papers to …”, 不知道行不行.
2. 被邀请写了篇review, 已经online first了, 提交的时候submit了邀请信(里面没提
邀请标准什么的), 最近和editor要了封verification letter.
3. 和引用我文章的人发信要推荐信, 有个欧洲的人同意了, 正准备中. 如果谁有这类
推荐信模板可以借鉴下,麻烦提供下, 非常感谢!
另外有Business Wire和 PR inside 报道了我写了book chapter的那本书, 章节作者里
有我的名字, 不知道算不算媒体报道. ACS的Noteworthy Chemistry上提了有我的一篇
二作文章,不知道提这个有没有用. 另外交的时候油灯图抽风, 准备补个油灯图.
Case 比较弱, 我预计的结果是RFE, 没想到NOID了, 大家提点建议吧!

发帖数: 7139 | 4 我个人始终感觉不是特强的CASE最好别PP,当然这个始终没有定论，因为和IO,个人运气
有关，你的CASE 不PP我觉得很可能无RFE，直接过了，但既然已经RFE了，看看能不能
再要推荐信，如果来不及就再挖掘一下，感觉过得可能性很大。BLESS.
你准备过程中的第3个不错，还有一些报道虽然是报道你的工作，可以帮助CONTRIBUTION，那个EDITOR的信个人感觉还不太给力。 | o*********o

读了IO的建议，貌似兄台第一次材料有两个问题没组织好
1.totality
不知道你有没有把你发paper的杂志的排名，review杂志的排名列上。
贵专业引用动辄好几百，io估计司空见惯了。你得狠挖自己的闪光点
2. applications based on your study
你这个需要谈细节了，主要是人家怎么利用你的成果了。
找引用人推荐信是一方面，另一方面你得自己看看你的引文们，研究一下。

TOP in the field. More reference letter might help. But you should provide
comparison of your contribution (publication , citation ect) to others in
your field. Could you find other source for comparison other than "top 10的

志也是top1的。只是美国的文章都是08年以后发的，引用不是太多。
我在contribution里提到了别人的大段引用，并且有praise，IO视而不见？？哭！

的。不知道哪位仁兄有这类信息！
我的PL里论证了我的contribution,花了９页，media report, award, 大段引用(都是
hard evidence吧)都用来支持contribution了，不知道回复ＮＯＩＤ要不要重新说一遍
？？

没有？你好好准备，过得可能性很大的。另外，你再次提交审查还是pp的速度，该精简
的不要罗嗦，页数表太多。

My personal advice:
1. Try to find more (2-3) letters from other countries, rather than US and
switzerland. That will help you make the point that you are INTERNATIONALLY
recognized.
2. If you are not that top under Chemistry, try to narrow your area, let say
, DNA damage repair, in this specific field, you may show IO that your
contribution to this kind of topic are great impact.
3. Include your new articles/reviews accepted online, showing that you are
still making contributions to the field.
4. Include your new citations, if any, to show that your work are constantly
drawing atterntions from other researchers wordly.
5. Add the citation distribution map (You deng map) this time to give IO an
eye attraction that you're internationally recognized.
6. Organize your material VERY WELL this time!
7. If you are not that confident, do not hesitate to hire a lawyer to deal
with the NOID. It may be worthy the money.
Do not even blame PP.
Think about in this way, if your case gets approved after submission of your
response, you will rethink of PP. Moreover, you might get RFE after waiting
2-4 months without PP. My point is just do whatever you can to improve your
case, no complaint! That is life.
