Aims and Scope:
Nature Chemical Biology is a new interdisciplinary journal that publishes
the most innovative and important research advances at the interface of
chemistry and biology. The journal publishes research from chemists who are
applying the principles, language and tools of chemistry to biological
systems at the molecular level. The scope of the journal covers all areas of
contemporary research at the interface of chemistry and biology.
Each issue provides the reader with a combination of research articles in
two formats (Letters and Articles), supported by enhanced content such as
Reviews, Research highlights, and Commentaries designed to inform readers of
new developments in chemical biology.
Readership:
Nature Chemical Biology is relevant to organic, inorganic, bioorganic,
bioinorganic and biophysical chemists, biochemists, medicinal chemists,
pharmaceutical scientists, molecular and structural biologists as well as
biologists who seek to understand biological systems at the molecular level,
including cellular, molecular, developmental and neuro-biologists.
Online features and site license access:
Online archive available back to June 2005.
A
site license provides access to all content published during the supply
period. Access is granted to a further rolling four-year archive during the
supply period only. Archive content not included in the license agreement is
available to purchase.
Unique online functionality includes (i) an online index of the chemical
compounds that are described in each paper, with links to the structures
deposited in the PubChem database and (ii) 3D rendering of compounds
allowing users to view and manipulate chemical compounds in three dimensions.
Indexed in CAS, Current Contents, Science Citation Index and Medline (PubMed
).
