I am currently a post-doc, and my university only files eb1b for tenure-
track faculties, not research associate or research scientist. So Eb1b is
not really an option at this moment.
I am looking at 3 options right now:
1) Look for a real job, such as tenure-track AP (I am doing this anyways
not only for the purpose of green card application);
2) Wait for more independent citations (very slow increase in my particular
research area) and re-try eb1a;
3) Quietly wait (at least 2 years from now on) until I am allowed to file
485 based on my approved NIW (PD December 2008). |
