没有notice，支票倒是5天内就被cash了，而且背面看不到什么回执号码。前两天让
employer打电话，问到了receipt number。
因为工作可能在秋天发生变化，比较着急要拿绿卡; ld也需要身份工作。
后悔当时没有把485一起递上去。
请问我现在还能单独交485么？如果可以怎么操作？
还是需要重新连140一起递过，用pp？

if your case is eb1a/b.
you can try your idea, but ...
better to send pp to get the 140 result first. |

发帖数: 344 | 4 谢楼上两位啊。不过你们意见正好相反，我还是糊涂。我也看了485的instruction，我
也理解是说要么同时递，要么等140批准了再递。但看到版上有一些id好象是先递140，
还没批准就又递485，就好奇是不是自己理解错了呢。
如果pp的话，据说RFE几率很高。准备RFE是不是更麻烦？此外，索性重新交一遍140/
485，外加pp，如果pp/rfe过程中之前的140批了，能不能再针对第一份140再递485，就
当第二次递的不存在？ |

need to have 140 approved when filing 485. You only need the 979c, action
of notice. |

我又看了下USCIS网站关于i485的介绍。
"Petitioners filing Form I-485 alone, based on a previously filed Form I-140
for a “skilled worker” (and which petition is pending or approved),
should file their stand-alone form I-485 application at the USCIS NSC or TSC
, depending on the location of the beneficiary’s permanent employment,
provided a visa is available per the current Department of State Visa
Bulletin. "
以及
"Please note that, if you file Form I-485 to adjust your status as a
permanent resident on or after July 30, 2007, no additional fee is required
to also file an application for employment authorization on Form I-765 and/
or advance parole on Form I-131. You may file these forms together."
也就是说，对于EB1B的140，只要在pending，我就可以交上485/765/131，对吧？
可我还有倒霉问题呢。。。我从来就没有收到过notice，只是让employer打电话问来了
receipt number。这样我就没法submit这个notice的copy了。这咋办。。。 |
