f******g 发帖数: 70 | 1 My 485 is pending and I have an EAD card that is valid for two years.
My new job gave me 4 weeks time to start working. I plan to give my current
employer the 2 weeks notice now and take another 2 weeks off...
I work for my current employer on H1B and will be working for my new
employer on EAD, no H1-B transfer will be sponsored/processed.
Can I do this? Will I be considered out of status for that two weeks? Will
this has any ramification on my 485 application?
Thanks a lot! | f******g 发帖数: 70 | 2 Does anybody konw answer to this one? Can you help? I really want to give
notice this week, instead of waiting for another 2 weeks and ending up
having no gaps in between the jobs and no time to deal with the relocation
and transition etc. | x*******S 发帖数: 577 | 3 you should be fine, I-485 pending entitle you stay in US during waiting,
and you have your EAD card to allow you work for your next employer.
If your 485 related to Eb1B, make sure you have already work for your
current employer for more than six months, and your next employer will
provide you an employment verification letter.
If you hired a lawyer during your application, they should give you a more
certain answer for free. | f******g 发帖数: 70 | 4 Great! Thank you!
