fresh phd 毕业， 作了半年博士后（research assistant professor).没啥兴趣，扯
了一堆家庭理由，打算离开现在的位置。Dean（也是整个行业协会的老大）让留下来，
说可以帮我搞绿卡EB1b,并且找congressman写推荐信。他说这样应该问题不大。
问题：
在Dean要帮我之前，咨询过几个律师，有的说可以有的说不行。但是如果有dean的帮忙
，还有congressman的推荐信，是不是成功机会变大，会变多大？
背景：
因为领域小并且很应用，5篇一作，引用很少（5个引用，还是08年第一篇，后面两篇是
09,10发的）。两个在申专利（两个都在商用化的开发阶段），一堆学生奖，一个行业
奖，会议报告>30,两个invited talk。 | o*********6

没有,如果phd不算的话,只有半年工作经验.

恩, congressman能写信. government unit是什么意思?

领域有很多方向,生物的大概平均一年5个,工程的一年3-6个不等.我其中的两篇文章又
被转载到其他的期刊了,不知道这样算不算有帮助.

look for recommendation letters cite that your outstanding research during
PHD.
2. Congressman belongs to America Government, i'm not sure he is permited to
write the letter for you.
3. it is not a strong case, i think.
4. but your dean offers you EB-1B with PP, I think you can have a try. | o*********6

your can file I140.
(2) The others may answer your question.
(3) if you have a better choice, it is another thing.
