1. On the I-864 form I filed for my mom, part 3 question2(I am sponsoring
the following family members immigration at the same time ), Do I need to
put my dad’s info. here? Per an experience sharing article , it is not
necessary to repeat my dad’s info. here since I am going to file a separate
I-864 for my dad anyway. But if I do not put my dad’s info. here how could
I reflect that I am supporting both my dad and my mom in part 5, (the
sponsor’s household size.)
2. My own income is enough to support my parents. So I am not going to
put my husband income info. on i-864. But in part 6 I was ask to put “My
total income(adjusted gross income on IRS form 1040ES). I filed the tax
return with my husband together. The gross income on 1040 is the totally
income of me and my husband. Should I just fill this number in? OR should I
figure out the gross income of myself?
3. My parents are current in U.S. it sounds like there is $88 fee for I-
864 for each of them. Should I include the $88 with the fee of I-130 and I-
485 together. Or I should wait until payment notice? Per the instruction
online I should wait for the notice. See the instruction as follows:
When Is the I-864 Processing Fee Paid? When your immigrant visa case is
ready to begin processing at the NVC, the NVC will send an Affidavit of
Support processing fee invoice and payment instructions to your petitioner.

发帖数: 12623 | 2 1. It says "Do not include any relative listed on a separate visa petition".
Since your dad is listed on a separate petition, you do not include him.
2. You should fill in whatever number is on the "total income" line on your
tax return. It doesn't matter if you were single that year or if you filed
jointly or separately.

I agree that it sounds like I should not put my dad's info. in my mom's I-
864. But in part 5. Sponsor's household Size. Should I put "1" in 5.(if you
have any ohter dependents , enter the number here) to indicate that I am
also going to sponsor my dad. |
