我们在现在的房子里已经住了将近三年。第一年和第二年都是签的合同，第三年转为了
month-by-month。我们打算11月中旬搬出。按照我们的过往经验和理解，我们上个周
末给房东公司发了 Notice of Termination 信。结果房东公司说，房子只能整月的租
。也就是说，即使我们月中搬出，我们也要付整月的钱。我们想咨询一下，这个 month
-by-month 必须要住整月么？
如下是我们合同中的条款：
Notice of termination shall be given at least thirty (30) days prior to the
next date rent is due and shall specify the date on which the Agreement will
terminate.
All 30 day notices of termination are due on the 1st day of the month that
you will be vacating. In other words if you will be vacating at the end of
January, you must have your 30 day notice in our office by January 1st.
