St. Louis Blues Defenseman Al MacInnis Will Be Sidelined Indefinitely
St. Louis, MO, Oct. 18, 2003 - Senior Vice President and General Manager Larry
Pleau announced this afternoon that defenseman Al MacInnis will be sidelined
indefinitely, following eye surgery yesterday afternoon.
MacInnis, 40, was diagnosed yesterday by Dr. Isaac Boniuk, of the Barnes
Retina Institute, with a retinal tear of the left eye and a retina weakening
of the right eye. MacInnis underwent surgery yesterday afternoon to
