?just got the N600 HD (F7D8301/4301) yesterday to replace my lighting fried
WNDR3700. I flashed it with DD-WRT mini. Everything works fine. I set the
router to the static address 192.168.1.X and everything seems ok. The I
flashed the tomato onto it and yeah, it seems flashed successfully and asked
for user name/pass. As in other posts have mentioned, the user/pass
normally does not work because the encryption methods. So, I tried to bring
up the CFE brower to reset the user/pass. Before doing that, I did a 30/30/
30 reset. Now, the problem is, how do I bring the router up? After I plug in
the power, nothing happens, the LED is not on, and my PC cannot detect any
connection (the pc is directly connected to one of the LAN ports).?Did I
bricked it or I need special steps to bring the CFE browser on? Does the WAN
port need to be connected (I guess not, since I have the FIOS router
already at 192.168.1.1)? And what is the CFE browser really??I have the
router LAN connected to the PC (my pc is set at static ip). So is the
following correct??1> Start the router (how, I got no lights at all).?2> Do
I need to set my PC to dynamic ip??3> After above steps, I just need to type
in the ip of the router (I guess one of these: 192.168.2.1, 192.168.1.1 or
192.168.1.X) into IE? Will it ask for the user/pass? Should not, correct??

我也碰到了同样的问题。从dd-wrt升级到tomato后插电没反应，前后都做了30-30-30.

发帖数: 6474 | 16 西红柿稳定性极好，运行起来几乎不会crash。另外qos也比较有用。
从dd-wrt转到西红柿后，很少再转回去的，除非要用ddwrt有而西红柿没有的那几个功
能。

从DD-WRT转Tomato必须要先做30-30-30，你若跳过可能就变brick了 |

qos，你感觉不出来。

发帖数: 6474 | 24 有些P2p软件比如pplive会非常疯狂地占据上传带宽，上传带宽被占用了了后，别的机
器的网络请求基本上就跟没反应不多。
另外，如果家里有网络电话，要给VoIP最高优先级，这样你的通话质量才能保证，不会
出现通话中磕巴的现象。
当然如果你的带宽足够大，以至于从来没用到满载（特别是上传带宽），qos意义也不
太大。
