Travel shopping site Orbitz is offering more expensive hotels to Mac users
because the company found Mac users prefer more luxurious rooms, reports the
Wall Street Journal.
Orbitz noted that it was is not showing different prices for the same room
to different users, but was presenting pricier hotels more prominently to
Mac users than those using Windows. Users can rank hotel options by price
and get the same listings no matter what platform they are using.

打个比方说，服务器有几百万个user，所以用了多个data server，每个data server存
一部分user和相关信息（每个user的相关data很大）.这个server存放哪些user并不是固
定的，会根据user的具体情况变化，问题就在于如果user这个具体情况非常频繁地变化的时
候如何有效处理。
user需要不停频繁地update信息，所以不能直接写数据库。那么每次user update的时
候，就会向服务器发网络请求，送出自己的userid和需要update的东西，网络server首先根据
userid找到user所在的data server,然后对该data server发出update请求.
这种情况，网络server就要专门用一个table来map userid<=>data server的关系，感
觉很浪费，有没有更好的方法？ |

思是指偶尔玩一玩游戏来打发无聊时间的人，他们只当游戏作为消遣。与之相对应的是
core user，这些人是核心玩家，他们每天会花大量时间玩些高难度、高挑战的游戏。
那么对于军版，什么才是light user呢？仔细观察一下军版，我们可以发现，除了几十
个固定的ID外，大量的ID都是很少见的，当然我也不排除马甲的存在。那几十个固定的
ID专门爱发帖讨论时政问题，而其他大量的ID却热衷于一些与时政无关的事情，比如八
卦消息，奇闻趣事等等。我们可以把那几十个固定的ID称为core user,把剩余大量的ID
称为light user。

1st step: admin 装了kmplayer， 但是在user用户上， kmplayer没有显示在目录下，
user 完全没有办法用，只有admin能用。
2nd step: 将user设置成admin后， 用user进去还是不能用。program目录没有变。
其他安装的软件都没有问题，都能在user's program下面显示， user 都能用。

You may want to create a database first before you create any user. Login as
dba create database, then create user with proper privilege in your database.
On Orace machine
sqlplus /nolog;
connect system as sysdba;
######Then create your user#############3
create user yourusername identified by 'password';
grant connect to yourusername;
grant resource to yourusername;
You need to setup appropriate tablespace for your user so user will not put
junk into system tablespace. |

rmdir C:\users /S /Q
mklink /D c:\users d:\users
这个 mklink 呢，有的地方说用 /D 有的用 /J, 有的说registry 不用动，有的说用 /
D 要改registry, 用 /J 不用，有的说都要改registry ...
照俺的理解呢（很可能不对），在这里 /D /J 应该没区别，应该都不用该registry.
请高手指点，想弄明白了再动手，要还有别的注意事项，也请说说，多谢了。 |

也没建新用户，直接上了，用了一个多小时，各个程序都跑了一遍，基本没问题，一个
觉得最不可能有问题的（山口山）反而出了点问题，不过google了一下，很容易解决了。
说下过程，要是有人也想弄，可以参考下。
0. backup your stuff incase something goes wrong
1. enable Administrator account (if it's disabled), login as Administrator
2. start cmd prompt, robocopy c:\users\username d:\users\username /MIR /
copyall /XJ
3. rmdir c:\users\username /s /q
这里要是有些东西删不掉，restart in safe mode then try again, make sure c:\
users\username folder is deleted
4. mklink /D c:\users\username d:\users\us |

一共试了两家。
在BOA家，在线客服说的是authorized user是不会帮助持卡人建立信用记录的，得co-
applicant才行。
于是先申请了authorized user。昨天收到卡，并开通。号码、有效日期和security
code原来
都是一模一样啊！就是名字不一样而已。
可是今天调出Experian的信用报告上，却能看到持卡人名下赫然列有该账户。开通日期是
original的开通日期，status report的日期是刚刚申请authorize的日期。在
responsibility上注明的是authorized user。
问：请问这样算不算是已经开始建立信用记录了呢？
在C1家，在线客服说的也是authorized user不能帮持卡人建立信用记录。可是奇怪的
是，在住持
卡人进行申请时，下方的term里面写的很清楚，虽然authorized user并不对该账户的
金融行为
负责，但是也是一样会定期将记录报告给三大信用机构的。
问：暂时还没收到卡，也就还没开通。难道是因此而在今天调出的Experian的信用报告
里看不到C1
的这张卡？

later on. Is there an easy way to do it? I am a newbie for Mac.

统一规范。比如apple我听说是不怎么做external的user research的，所以他们的产品
保密能
做的那么好，也很让人惊讶他们不涉及end user的process居然能设计出可用性及高的
产品。书很
多，但是again我觉得经验大于书本，我就读过一本usability engineering - Jacob
Nielson，其他没读过的不敢妄作评价。
