Just upgraded CPU to W3680 on a Dell T3500. Realized the CPU temperature
rises up to mid 80 degrees at ~80% load.
Is that too hot? Also, is there ways to cool it down?

Just replace the CPU cooler.

I upgraded myself so that probably not covered by the existing warranty.
I find there are a couple different heatsinks for the model. The one I have
is:
