If so, we are looking for you! Currently VIPShop US R&D Center is looking
for a strong Senior Artificial Intelligence Scientist. The ideal candidate
will be passionate about developing interesting Artificial Intelligent
Systems and have a proven record of delivering highly operable and
maintainable software on time. You will have relentlessly high standards for
yourself and everyone you work with and constantly looking for ways to
improve software you own. As a member of the VIPShop US R&D Center, you will
be a key contributor to VIPShop’s Artificial Intelligence technology
stacks and systems, and more importantly, you will have the opportunity to
work for the fastest growing eCommerce business in China, and enable
innovation across such a large community of loyal customers.
Primary responsibilities include:
Executing VIPShop’s innovation strategy, designing and developing
Intelligent systems & applications that brings in new businesses and revenue
streams
Research and development of Deep Learning based Nature Language Processing,
Speech Recognition, Image Recognition technologies
Building large-scale GPU-accelerated Deep Learning Architecture
Building virtual personal assistant system which is capable of interacting
with human intelligently (like Siri)
Building a team of AI researchers and developers
Closely watching industry trend, and adopting the latest and greatest
Artificial Intelligence technologies within VIPShop companies across the
globe
Other usual engineering activities – requirement analysis, scoping,
prioritization, planning, coding, bug fixing, documentation, and having fun!
Desired Skills and Experience
Computer Science, Information Engineering, Pattern Recognition, Neural
Network, Computational Linguistics or related majors, Master degree or above
Profound understanding of Deep Learning and NLP algorithms; Extensive
experience in areas where Deep Learning algorithms are applied
Good programming skills, productive in at least one mainstream programming
languages (C/C++, Java, Perl, Python, etc.)
Experience in GPU programming (such as CUDA, DirectCompute and OpenCL)
Strong research skills are desired, good at collaborating and communicating
with others
Experience in big data processing systems (such as Spark, Hadoop, etc.) and
databases is a plus;
8+ years of software development experiences, Exposure to Agile software
development life cycl Highly Desired Expertise
Speech Recognition
Image Recognition
Added Advantage
Bilingual in English and Chinese a plus | S*******n
