I bought an Elite 3200 DOA 600 Bushnell rifle scope which was qualified for
a $75 rebate. I mailed in the rebate form and UPC code (taped it on a piece
of
paper) on time to the address provided on the rebate form.I checked my
rebate status on web-rebates.com and it said that I didn't include a valid
UPC in the submission.I called the number and talked to an employee of the
rebate company who processes the rebate for Bushnell.The employee said she
did have my UPC and she would honor the rebate.Several of my firearm forum
members
have the same experience.
The rebate company is categorically lying about the UPC code even if you
send them a legit UPC. Bushnell is hiring a bad company to process its
rebate. I would never buy a Bushnell product again.
So, you won't get your rebate if you don't call. |

rebates are handled by manufacturers or third-party companies, rather than
directly by the retail store selling the discounted product."

HOUSCOUS was right about Canon though, got my $400 rebate last year from
camera/printer combo without any problem. |

send in the rebate form, receipt, and UPC code. And you get your tracking
ID instantly. All these before you ever mail your stuff. And they update
your status step by step from received to process, to approved, and to
mailed. |
