Ever since he took office, Obama has claimed in front of the T.V. cameras
and teleprompters that he "supports" the Second Amendment -- and that he
doesn't intend to take away our rights and our guns.
But when he recently released his proposed 2013 government budget, Obama
made it 100% clear that everything he's said about supporting the Second
Amendment is a bald-faced lie.
The President's budget includes no less than six direct attacks on your
Second Amendment rights.
And to defeat these attacks, I need you to sign our NRA-ILA online Petition
to Congress.
In his budget, Obama wants to give the government full authority to spend
your tax dollars on bogus anti-gun studies that claim to "prove" that your
guns are a "public health menace." He want to give unelected bureaucrats the
power to ban firearm imports.
He even wants to give government officials the option to continue smuggling
guns to Mexican drug lords – an insane policy that has already resulted in
the murders of hundreds of innocent people!

these outrageous attacks on the Second Amendment.
