。这次呆满了九十天，当天买当天拿。FBI等了半小时就批了。是P30 V3，是west

armory开了不久我入跟他们会员了，但是买枪折腾了很久 |

就走。
5天的等待期是对每把枪的。我一哥们1年里从west coast armory 买了30把，最便宜的
也要1000多.每把也要等5天。

Even if the state does not have special requirements, but the FBI can delay
the background clearance.
I met this situation almost every time. The background clearance is delayed.
FBI does not approve immediately so you have to wait until they approve.
Sometimes FBI can delay a couple of days.

clearance的过程超过了州法的等待期。

There is no waiting period in WA, and I have the same experience as
akula
If you have CCW, you can pass the state check almost immediately.But
there is always delay on FBI check even I have CCW probably because I
born in China, it can take by minutes or a few hours or a few days for
me. But all my coworkers can get their firearm right way, no delay on
FBI clearance, they are all born in US.
There is a way to get immediate FBI cleareance by establish FBI
Voluntary Appeal File (VAP), FFL gave me all those forms when I picked
up our second gun.
It took me 31 days to get my first gun(no CCW), but 2 hours for my
second one(with CCW), and half day for my third one. so it's YMMV.

exactly 90 days, I walked into the dealer, did the paperwork, dealer called
in, FBI said wait half an hour and call back. When they did FBI gave the
dealer a "clearance code" which says the firearm can be transferred
immediately - the code is printed on the receipt.
Anyways, I'm not interested in what FBI says or the State mandates. I got my
gun and I now know it can be done in Washington. |

And each county may vary, but in Seattle King county, the waiting period doesn't apply at all. I got my second handgun in two hours; One of my coworker just purchased two handguns last week, he walked away with those guns in 20 minutes.
The wife of that coworker didn't have CCW, and she got her first handgun
second day after she applied in West Coast Armory, in other words, she got
clearance from both states and FBI less than 24 hours.
I have talked FFL about the delay for my handgun transfer; He said it was state had hold me for 31 days for my first gun; But since I got CCW after that, all the delay on my other handguns were from FBI. I was there once when they called FBI, I heard the FBI lady told FFL to delay this transfter instead of giving transfer code.
FFL can release the firearm once they got clearance from state and FBI. They are not required to apply waiting period.
