a lot of ppl prefer buying Tour version clubs.
I would say it is just "ego".
My wedge is Tour version, I mentioned many many times.
My driver was the same driver Tim Clark was using.
My putter is Tour version as well, although, my putting sucks.

version), the shaft alone is around $400.

but, it could go anywhere for 300 more yards. very hard to control that
beast.
