昨天local course有个nike, callaway的demo day， 试了两家的driver, iron,
开始从nike 的sumo square head开始，hit like a shit, 工作人员给换了个loft后，
就是奇迹呀。
换到callaway fi-5, big bearth, nike sumo (square head and sasquash)， 目测距
离根本就没有什么变化， 很一致的在一个距离范围内。
这就如周5的那场golf里，最后一个hole, 我从tee box里开出6个球， 5个落在方圆为
10 feet为半径的园里。
不过，试到callaway x-tour iron set, 从8, 6 到4, i hit too good to be true.

I used to use the Taylormade 200 series, graphite shaft, standard lie and
loft.
that's really good one. I still like it so far.
One month ago, I switched to Titleist 690mb. Before i bought it, i demoed it
at least 10+ brand/models clubs, callaway, mizuno, nike, ping, titleist. I

发帖数: 2057 | 12 周六上午带娃在球场边的公园玩，顺便过去瞅了眼场子，人不多，果岭刚打过眼。下午
快四点，申请了一个九洞的break就上场去也。
后面没人，开球不好，重开了一个。想着要不就打两个球好了，说不定能整个伪18洞。
为了增加趣味性，一个用Titleist，一个用Callaway。第一个五杆洞因为没有热身，开
球都不好，果岭也没谱，一个四上三推，一个4杆到果岭边沙坑沿不好站位，2切2推加
三。Titleist小胜一杆。
然后想不能仅仅左手对右手，于是准备Titleist（T）冒险Callaway（C）保守。例如开
球，Callaway一般用3木，球位不好就过渡。
第二洞，两个开球一左一右都在球道上，全都标上打Par。
第三洞，5杆洞，第二杆需要carry过creek，然后球道转右。两个开球都偏右，T是
Driver，在前可是位置不好，需要低飞右曲才能避开障碍。平时肯定layup到Creek前，
不过这次是冒险打法，硬上。果然不行，差点进水。长草Wedge救出，攻岭的过沙坑高
抛啃地了，五上两推加二。另一边C标上保Par。形势顿时逆转。

总的来说是一个很好的杆，Graphite，非常轻，比Adam略为轻一点，适合女性，增加了
挥杆的准确性，曾经试过Adam, Adam略为重一些，如果打准了，比Callaway打得远一些
。考虑到轻重和美观，同时Adam Ideal A12OS的杆略长，本人个子不高，介于Petite和
standard之间，偏向standard，后来选择了Callaway。（本人外貌协会的，轻拍）
以前上场都是用老公的Tommy Armour，打得跟狗屎一样，偶尔能打一个正常的。今天和
老公打球，发球明显比以前远多了，不怕过河，好几次甚至打得比老公还远（老公也是
新手，但是比我打得好得多）。可惜7号杆练习的少，比driver重些。
Callaway Solarie的set包包是没有支架的，放在车库里，被轻碰倒在地，当时没有多
想，今天上场，发现5号木杆断了，全新的杆，还没拆开过。以前看review就有有人抱
怨杆的质量不好，打了两次把杆打断了。我这杆放在包里，还有一个单独的外套，竟然
断了... |

用过callaway其他的，感觉能挂Callaway牌子的都不会太差。
Callaway和costco还是有其品牌力量的，东西都是中等稍微偏上一点的大众质量。前几
年costco卖的
Taylormade R7xd就非常不错。

week, when i hit at range, somehow, something falling inside the driver head
. i can hear the rattle inside. i was so curious what was happening and went
back to golfsmith. to my surprise, without asking any more questions after
i explain to the salesman. he said he will send it back to callaway, and
take care of it. today, i got a call from them, was told my driver is ready.
i went to pick it up.

from Callaway's corp HQ. I went there twice to change shafts for my irons,
which are X-14 and way beyond the warrantee already. They did not charge me
one penny and sent them back with express delivery. During one of those
visits, I was kept waiting a little longer than it normally is. They
apologized and gave me a dozon of free callaway golf balls.

i tried the 3wood at lauch monitor yesterday, almost hit as long as the
driver. i like the the club head shape of big betha diablo:

feel easy to hit and forgiving.
i was comparing taylormade burner vs. callaway (both come with free 3wood)
the difference is that there are more loft choice for callaway(8 to 10),
also Adilda NV green shaft for free.

callaway driver...
so far, i feel i probably try 8* or 9* loft neutral, adlilad NV copper 55g

尝试了callaway的wedges, blade irons, 2个drivers, 1 个3-woods.
觉得callways出得都是啥嘛玩意码。
用完它的，在用自己的一套mp33铁杆对比一下，觉得我的mp33 workability强太多了。
同时也感受了project shaft - 对我来说可能是way too much.
球场遇见了另外一个哥们， 听起来很有名的样子。击球的swing speed听起来那可真是
不错。 和我的声音那可真是职业和业余的区别。
电脑报出他的driving distance (我偶尔听见的), carry 249码， 还是最好的一个？
（我自己在练球，callway的sales， 再加上一个所谓的coach, 一直在唧唧歪歪）。
似乎说这哥们球上的spin加太多了。
不过那哥们击球那速度可真是让人impressive.. |

从参数上看，Strata更像是为初学者设计的Super game improvement set。Solaire有
说设计接近X-hot，那就是game improvement level，一般来说，会比Strata难掌握一
些，好处是球技上来了，做球比较好。
其实以我的经验来看，未必初学者就不能直接上game improvement甚至player set，高
段的设备对技术要求高，要求精确的掌控，直接用对于练好动作是有帮助的，而且虽然
打出好球的概率下降了，但一旦打出好球，那种快乐也是加倍的。
另外这两套杆子价格差了3倍，所以价格低的质量一般会差些：比如会笨重些，木杆容
易杆头留下打痕，握手橡胶容易弄脏手套或蹭伤手，这些是我当年第一套入门套杆身上
的毛病，希望Strata会表现好些。而且这套Strata配的是blade推杆，比Solaire的大头

Nature基本关闭了一些同胞抗议的渠道，因为不是当事人本人，所以大家无法有效起诉。
但是叶诗文是这篇文章的直接受害者，她的个人体育成绩和努力被tarnished，造成一
定的名誉损失。
有可能的话，小叶子可以考虑对callaway直接质疑，申诉，并要求retract和道歉。
对Nature journal和news的不了解，我多少觉得威胁不投稿有些偏题。
质疑他们的科学精神和学术品牌还是要的。
now,在我们看来callaway是借用了一些”学术探讨“为背景，暗示小叶子的成绩有问题。
他可以辩解为在学术讨论中，仅以叶诗文为例子”而已“。 所以如果要有效申诉，还
是要在这点上也点到。
