My biggest issues used to be (1) an overly strong grip and (2) COG leaning f
orward at the start of back swing (now I understand this is actually a swing
tempo issue, in essence. After a month dedicated on these two things, I hav
e fixed 80% of the grip issue and 60% of the COG instability. As a result, I
've reduced miss hits down to about 20%. I think it is time for me to focus
on a few other issue.

发帖数: 19471 | 2 shot 160 range balls today with only one focus: a loose grip. worked really
well on the first 120 -- I probably had a miss hit rate of 5% or less and
gained 5-10 yards on average. then I got tired in my lower body and started
shanking them. so I left 20 balls and walked away to practice putting. I'm
glad I had almost no chunky shots at all -- I think a loosened grip really
helps create that lag in release and eliminate the fat contacts.

i used to use interlock when I started the game. I changed to overlap after
my instructor told me "99% pros are using overlap".
actually, overlap helps regarding loose grip.

发帖数: 10701 | 7 he did. that he used it was from Jack Nicklaus. Jack is interlock.
Interlock, as the time told, locked the two hands too tight.
interlock, bascially, is good for the smaller palm/hand. it means if you
think you can't grab the club naturally, you can use interlock grip (or
change ur grib to smaller size.)

I also changed from overlap to interlock a few years back. I've found out
that my grip becomes much more stable and I don't need to squeeze too hard
in order to hold club.
