budget is around $200 and not over $300. I've read the faq by ET. When I searched "super game improvement" in
those manufacture website, the newest designs are very expensive (for a whole iron set, it's usually over $500).
I decided to buy a used set on ebay. Since there are not much info on used set on this forum, could some one give
me some recommendation, like what brand, which |

would be more than $200 on ebay, as I know.
Absolutely, it is more meaningful to have a driver, irons from pitching
wedge to 6iron, (pw, 9, 8, 7, 6), plus one putter. however, I don't know
how much you can save tho, since most of them are sold by set.

3) mizuno mx-23
4) Callaway Fusion WideSole,
5) COBRA S9
6) CALLAWAY BIG BERTHA

increase your budget to 400 will help to achieve your goal. any way with 300
I think the best you can do is get a GI set instead of SGI, that usaully
means no hybrids come with the set.You can try Adams tight lies iron set

From what I've read, titleist 804 os is in the mid of forgiveness and
playability, so it's more suited to some advanced players, right? Is it same
for mizuno mx-23?
I'm now more toward taylormade os2 and ping g5. I found used ping g5 is
usually $100 more expensive than os2, is there any major defference between
these two sets?

major difference. Ping's irons are usually more durable because they are
cast, that's why they hold their value pretty well. I dont remember os2 is
cast or forged, but that's not the main concern at this stage.

than os2. R7 draw is draw biased which means it probably have closed face to
help you eliminate slice. Some of people here had experience with OS2.they
might give you more insight info. You are not the first one asked for help
about choosing irons. There are lot of great advices in this board. Here are
some.
1. try it before buy.
Usually, every golf course have their own pro shop. if you can find a golf

go with overall reviews on internet to find some forgiving set instead of
taking pure recommendation from Pro-shop. |

models almost every year try to fool custom to buy their "new technology".
But they do make quality golf club.Just not my cup of tea. :)

I am using taylormade OS2 irons. It is decent and I like it. I had the same
question as you last Summer. As a new hand, I had no idea what to buy. I
tried a couple of them in shop where they had simulators. honestly, I really
could not tell the difference among them, even I tried to swing more than
20 balls.
At that time, I could not decide to buy either taylormade OS2 or callaway
x18. After saw my swing, sales said "either one is ok for you, why not take
the cheaper one." So I bought OS

感觉R7>FP>OS2
理论上来讲cobra fp has the best shafts in the group, N.S. Pro 1030
but i just can't feel it
but that's just me,也许我习惯更轻的shaft,which R7 has (90 g i believe)
07' FP steel is out of stock nowon TGW? then...try ebay...
i think OS2 is R5美国版, I don't like the looks and address at all, but you
can give it a try, very good value
also,
another nice choice is Nike CCi Cast, believe also on sale, very nice
