you feel like this was unfair, but GM's can actually ban, silence, suspend

players of the game. This is outlined in the first rule of our Code of
Conduct:
Ubisoft reserves the right to suspend any player's account without prior
warning and start any procedure it deems necessary. Ubisoft can forbid or
remove any actions, communication or content visible during use of the M&MHK
Services if it judges them to be contrary to the laws in force at the time
or detrimental to other members, Ubisoft staff or Ubisoft's right in general.
PS-ChemZero didn't just create this rule off the top of his head, he created
"Ze Rules" thread yesterday to make it easier for players to know what
rules we enforce. You are free to play on any of our other servers as long
as you follow these rules.

Second, ChemZero wasn't making fun of the Chinese language, in any way. He
was referring to something called "LEET" speaking when he said "BAN ME NAO
PLZKTHXBAI". This is a slang that has evolved from internet gamers typing
words incorrectly because they are in a hurry or because they are making fun
of the English language. The word NOW, when spoken in English, actually
sounds like NAO phonetically.
Third, my GM's do joke around with the players on the forums. This IS
actually what I trained them to do, and we have received many emails and
messages from our customers saying they love us for making the forums more
fun. I'm sorry if you don't feel this way. He was not trying to humiliate
Dizhu by doing this, he was making fun at himself in Dizhu's post.

It had nothing to do with you triggering endgame (not directly, anyway).
Your peers, other players, reported your alliance abusing the AH. We DID
check out Legion and several other top alliances. We banned everyone we
found in the top ranks, your alliance just had more members abusing the
feature than weren't.
We'd ban someone for this no matter what position they were in. But there
are cases where we're not made aware of players doing this or don't see them
. But as soon as we see someone abusing this feature: they're gone.

It may not seem to you like it was resource pushing, but it was. Caravans
are supposed to be used to send resources to another alliance member, not
the Auction House. This is because the Caravans have a much longer delay (as
intended) than the deliveries for Auction sales do. Using the Auction House
to send resources back and forth between alliance members allows for that
alliance to grow too fast, compared to the alliances that are using the
Caravans. This is why your alliance tripped the end game content only one
month after the server went live when it's supposed to take 3-4 months to do

My point is that the GM believes we use AH to push resource and accelerate
our growth, how to quantify the actual benefits we get from this kind of
activities compared to Legion which has even higher score then us. It may
lead to two conclusions:
1) Legion is applying some other sneaky tricks, or
2) Legion is perfectly clean and the way we use AH doesn't bring much
incremental advantage as claimed by GM and other whiners.

No need to send the screenshot, I am aware of the posts made.
The UK's GM's FAQ's about trade do not apply on the North American servers.
The UK's GM's also police all of Europe which has a lot more players to
police and help. I believe that is the reason why a lot of the rules may be
different in some fashion from the North American to the European servers.
The post you are talking about were ChemZero states he is not fond of the
action, he also states and I will quote for clarification: "As for players
shuttling resources: In essence, we (the GMs) monitor pushing and exchanges
very heavily in the beginning of the game. if players aren't accelerating
the timetable of the game, then everyone has an equal opportunity to expand
. As the game goes on we still care about pushing and still enforce it,
right up until the end. I don't care if the server ends tomorrow and you've
played fair this entire game, if on the last day you decide to throw the
rulebook out the window then you decide to get yourself, and possibly your
alliance (depending on the level of infraction), banned."
Your alliance pushed the server into the War of Tears before the server
should of been in it. Which on a server were no one cheats or pushes should
be around 3-6 months in the servers life, depending on the number of players
on the server.
This was due to a combination of your alliance cap being more then it should
be on numerous occasions (which we had warned your alliance leader Dizhu
about on numerous occasions) and your use of auction house to move
resources.
Again you are not banned from the game, you were simply removed from the
server were the infraction accrued. You are one of the better players in the
game, and it does suck that this situation has come up when you guys were
clearly going to win.
And if you know of any other alliances that are doing this, that we may have
overlooked feel free to say so, and we will look into it. If they are
guilty they will be dealt with in the same way.

it is a issue of time. Trade between friends is fine, as long as it is done
properly, through the caravan system. By using the auction house to "trade"
resources it takes a shorter amount of time to send them. The auction house
is made for use of selling excess resources. Not for fast trade between
players."

Even if massive exchange resource could accelerate the process of the game, or cause any imbalance,
occasionally exchange of resource (tens of) among alliance is far from that.
It is like that they accuse us of using the knife to kill someone, while we
only used the knife to cut something.
We did NOT abuse the auction house, but exchange resource through AH with 3%
tax occasionally. They are accusing us for what we did not do. |
