1. texas hold'em: only started playing about less than one year ago, a
conservative and tight player, have only played it in casinoes 4 times, mostly
play with friends.
2. Pai-gow poker: enjoyed its slow pace, a good way to spend time in casinoes
in my opinion.
3. Blackjack: I play it mainly because of its simpleness and relative small
house edge.
4. Slots: I know this is a loser's game, but I like playing slots, not sure

34 ppl -- 1st place
178 ppl -- 5th
150 ppl -- knocked out early

how much is the buy-in for your "small" tournament?

but I think every decent-sized casino will have some kind of tournament, the
buy-in can be quite different though. Just guess, had zero experience here.

stop order. however, cash games are really more fundamental than tournament.
in cash games, odds is pretty much the only thing you care, while in
tournaments, there are too many others such as blinds and stacks.

a professional can almost guarantee to win at cash games from amateurs all the
time, but can't be so sure about winning a tourney with the same amateurs.
