Not all of Notre Dame's problems are in the courtroom
this week. Joe Moore's age-discrimination lawsuit is
only deflecting, for the moment, attention away from
some hard times for those loyal to the Fighting Irish.
Athletic Director Mike Wadsworth came back from summer
vacation in Ireland recently inundated with questions
about the Big Ten. The Ann Arbor News published a story
stating that the Big Ten has had discussions about making
Notre Dame the conference's 12th member.
