为了准备面试和会议，想买件正式的衣服。去店里试了一些，因为平时不穿的缘故，总
觉得别扭，可能是fit不好，也可能是我心里作用。。。
1. 看到前一段时间讨论衬衫的问题。我买的express的 1MX extra slim fit，非常贴
身，挺好看的。就是拆开衬衫后，一堆褶皱，让我怎么熨烫啊
2. 西装research了好久，我不打算买dressing suit，就是跟裤子配套的。想分开买，
买blazer。也是express的。试了几个号，觉得胸部不是太紧就是太松。
3. 裤子我买的是chino，不是dressing pant 。 我觉得平时稍微正式的场合都可以穿
，出去开个学术会议也行，去学校面试给talk也可以，不想搞的太证实的dressing
pant，因为在学术界很多人都不讲究穿。会议上，那些professor都比较随便。
另外，上面的这个打扮没问题吧。。。我是找博后的工作。。。
另外，像这种店， express，他们的衣服裤子都是做好的，找tailor改也不实际吧。我
觉得那种专门的西装店，他们才会有tailor帮你改，像裤子，把长度定好。
想听听大家的建议。网上搜了很多。具体试的时候还是拿不准。谢谢了 |

2. blazer买来之后可以拿去给tailor改

Buy an iron and an ironing board. Ironing shirt is not difficult at all.
Take a
look of videos online.
Personally I think dressing suit is better for interview. However, it's
personal taste if it is a post doc position. Chest should not be too loose,
a little bit tight is OK if you could not find out fit well.
For conference this is totally fine. For interview, better choose a dressing
suit with pant. Especially when you interview for AP position in the future
, you might want to dress formally. Just my 2 cents.

not AP. I know for a real job interview it's better to dress up than dress
down. as I mentioned though, professors in science are very casual, probably
because they were wsn before and they are used to that casual life style. I
just want to be appropriate but not over shine. I will practice my ironing
skill. again dressing suit and pants don't come often to the life of postdoc
. for now I just need them for conference and lab interviews. that's why I
want to buy a black blazer With a black chino. I can still wear them during
some casual parties in my life.

-shirt and chino in a conference. what should I wear if not blazer. I think
most of time I will just need T-shirt but what matches my T-shirt except a
blazer. I don't have a lot of budget so just going plain and neat. thanks

faculty? They might have some good suggestion.

发帖数: 40617 | 14 wash and press衬衣我这里2块5一件。但是我作为A型血细节控，喜欢自己熨。其实弄
个好的蒸汽熨斗，熨衬衫裤子也是很好的休闲。裤子稍微需要学习一下，管子很多视频
。我一般是衬衣洗好先放着，攒大概10几件然后一次熨掉，边熨边看个电视剧啥的。
