I live in Boston area, want to expend my fishing from freshwater to New
England coastline through a piece of plastic...Currently looking to buy a
SOT fishing kayak, fish finder etc...also looking around for a brave (or
stupid?) enough partners to go with me, for more fun and safety - of course!
Please let me know if interested.

fishing kayak 比较好的还是Hobie 系列
例如 Hobie Mirage Revolution， Hobie Mirage Outback
Hobie的MirageDrive对fishing 还是有很大好处的

我理想的kayak fishing是这样的：两个人，用同样的kayak，可以简单的通过两根杆子坚固的连在一起，然后上trolling motor。到了钓点后，分开，各玩各的。

to load a >50lb kayak to SUV by yourself, especially after whole day
paddling. On the other hand, kayaks <12ft will not handle well on rough
ocean water...

You need a better roof rack system to load heavy kayak. Of course, it costs
more.
