talk没啥经验，也没有mock过，有些发怵。
很多人说chalk talk 是介绍自己第一个r01。
请教各位前辈和大牛几个具体问题：
如何在正式present之前正确评价目前的计划？如果不想让现在的老板知道你下一步的
具体计划，可以找别人评价？
如果课题并没有达到真正拿到r01的水平，会意味着失败么？还是说大家可以从中看到
你申到grant的能力就可以？

发帖数: 10 | 2 这个需要根据你们专业的情况来定，不一定需要只present一个RO1。我见过化学专业用
60+的slides 详细present自己3个proposal的，也见过只present big picture的，不
给详细的project的。你需要问问你们专业前辈看看怎么样规划比较好。 | F***Q

submitted, no need to be super detailed, but focus on your aims, how you
plan to get preliminary data, convince the committee your proposal is well
positioned for funding. give potential funding agency if possible. if you
already have funding, discuss how you plan to expand, continue, and new
directions to grow.
you will also be asked about your long-term ambition, how you establish
yourself, how you separate from your mentors, and how you plan to
collaborate with local expertise - the more specific, the better.
at the end, prepare a few questions to ask - such as students, facilities,

因为我个人觉得在申请faculty职位的时候就propose 一个最大的nih r01有点纸上谈兵，
毕竟这是很多即将tenure的faculty都不一定具备的。这个建议非常practical而且感觉
更加真诚！
