second, it is not about cutting effort. My effort is 5% on my school effort
report system (which he promised), but I think he reported to NIH that my
effort is 25%, which he is trying to send NIH wrong message.
Is there any way I can find out my effort at NIH he submitted? This kind of
information should be archived somewhere. I can talk to program manager, is
there any other source?

发帖数: 2041 | 4 Are you sure (the grant has budget >250k)? Even modular budget has a
detailed budget for the institution. You should ask your office of
sponsored research first. Why do you need the information? If you simply
want to put on your CV, just put 0.6 calendar month for 5%. Everyone knows
what's that mean.

sending wrong information to NIH. It should be 5%, why he told NIH it was 25

sponsored research. If they say it is okay, then you should just take it.
Unless you are Co-PI (I mean the grant recognizes you and other PI on the
NIH website), you really have no say.

efforts.

发帖数: 320 | 9 在 modular budgeted grants 里面，Efforts 还是要 report 的。每次 nih 给钱之前
，都需要 PI 填写 Other supports 就是不让人的 efforts 超过 100% 吧。
但不知道 NIH 是不是 对里面所有的人都会找出以前的记录来 double check。
当然，efforts 在每年 progress report 的时候可以修改，但需要说明。
希望我没有记错。

的。 而且budget都是要run through preaward，改了一个数字，都得再来一轮。 |
