ranked No.1 before onsite in both places. Sometimes, they want to intereview
their top candidate first so that they can make a quick decision if the
candidate gets an offer from somewhere else before they finish their normal
intereview process. |

太强而去了更好的地方。
另外，什么事情都不是绝对的。有的地方，顺序能说明系里的喜好程度，有的地方，没
有什么关系。

给了她，然后该人由于有更好的offer没有来，然后offer给了第一个来参加面试的人。

来之后的表现肯定最重要啊。。。
我们系给offer那个candidate，不仅背景强（mit本科，yale博士，havard博士后，老
板全是大牛，有第一作者science发表），seminar 和 chalk talk都讲的特别好，我们
graduate student 都特别喜欢她，而且还是asian-american 女性，结果人家没来。。
。我估计有很多offer吧
那不是说最强的都安排在最后？

试表现在最后决定中的份量都不太一样。

receive the offer). Do you think it matters whether you are their first
choice or not before the on site interview. They will finish the interview
anyway.Try your best and show your best in the interview. |
