clearly surpassed tenure standard at this point

对方学校tenure要6，7年吧

tenure credit, then you will be reviewed in your 2nd year here.

should ask for tenure. It doesn't hurt anything.

就已经是tenure，第二进一步显的你很牛，然后你问他能不能直接给tenure。这样把球
推给他，看对方的offer喽。他如果很想要你，给tenure是可能的，不行的话至少也应
该给你一些tenure credit。
bottom line 是如果你比较自信明年能拿tenure，那是百分之百应该跟他们要tenure的。
